At Willems Boven-Leeuwen the time has come to proudly share our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with you. After thorough preparation, during which we were assisted by Chiel Vrijaldenhoven, a dedicated Avans student, we obtained the CSR quality mark. This quality mark not only confirms our commitment to sustainability, safety and social involvement, but also marks a new phase in our pursuit of a better world.

The auditor's conclusion speaks volumes: Willems has always believed in the crucial role of CSR in creating a sustainable and ethically responsible policy. To ensure that these beliefs remain firmly anchored, a foundation board has been established, in line with the wishes of the Willems family, which ensures that our valuable ideas are safeguarded.

We are proud that our company implements good employment practices in various ways. A recent highlight is the inclusive employer award we received in 2022, recognizing our positive commitment to diversity and equality within our team.

Environmentally speaking, we have made enormous strides by operating energy neutrally since 2019 thanks to the use of no fewer than 2,000 solar panels. And we continue. Our policy is aimed at expanding solar panels and reducing emissions, with which we continue to invest in a greener future.

With a broad customer base and a portfolio of diverse products in different segments, and our emphasis on innovation, we have proven that Willems Boven-Leeuwen is a crisis-resistant company. Our stakeholders share this positive view of our company, which results in the award of the CSR quality mark with an impressive score of 84 out of 100.
